A day at the Atlantis Waterpark

Atlantis Waterpark

We spent a day at the Atlantis Waterpark while on our trip to the Bahamas! It was INCREDIBLE! It was such a fun day. We acted like kids going down slides, tubing down rivers, swimming all day, napping on our chairs, and enjoying the aquarium. It was a long day. But so fun and very worth it! I am so glad that we went. I was a little hesitant to go because of the price and I knew it would be a long day. That would have been a mistake.

Atlantis Waterpark is one of the biggest in the world. There are so many kids at the Atlantis Waterpark and in the Bahamas in general. The whole place is very family friendly. Even though we didn’t have our kid with us, it makes it a lot better in general I think. We don’t drink or smoke or party, so being somewhere that is family friendly is still very important to us.

Tips

Wear water shoes, have a very relaxing day the day after, have a waterproof camera, get there right when they open and stay as long as you can! If you get to go, wear shoes! The ground gets so hot and a lot of the time it’s really rough, too. We got there right when they opened and stayed until they closed. It was probably our busiest day of the whole trip! I was SO tired the next morning

My only complaint was that there were a lot of cats around, haha! Don’t get me wrong, I love cats. But the park should definitely be spaying and neutering these felines. They’re on an island! It’s going to become so overpopulated with cats sooner or later. It seems like that should be their responsibility since the cats have made their home there! But maybe they keep them around for mice or something. I have no idea!
