The most underrated place we stopped in Scotland was easily Glencoe! On our way from Glenfinnan to Stirling, I knew we would drive through Glencoe. That was about the extent of planning I’d done! I knew there was a terrible massacre there, but I wasn’t very informed on what we were driving into. Glencoe, Scotland…
Glad you enjoyed Rannoch Moor and Glencoe, but I can assure you the area is rated and loved by both native Scots and visitors alike. The “little white house” in your first pic is at the foot of Buachaille Etive Mor and is owned by the National Trust for Scotland and is maintained by the Scottish Mountaineering Club and is available for booking.
Thank you! I’ll link that house, I’ll have that on my list of where I need to stay next time we make it to Scotland!
What incredible photography, thank you. We passed through Glencoe in 2008 taking a few photos. Oh to have a drone. The valleys are stunning.
We bought our drone right before we went on our trip to Scotland! It was incredible to have! And thank you!
