The Colors:
Blue and Orange
This light blue wall was perrrrrfect for Hiliary! And I love the way orange and blue go together. I don’t feel like I see enough orange in design or in general.. it’s just not way common! But it’s one of my favorite colors! Orange is associated with friendliness, fun, enthusiasm, and creativity! And blue is often associated with confidence, faith, and calming. If you’ve ever talked to Hiliary for .002 seconds you know that she is friendly, fun, enthusiastic, and confident! We always have such a blast whenever we work together, hang out, or just chat.
The Business:
Hiliary Stewart Photography
So Hiliary runs Hiliary Stewart Photography, and she is so talented! She makes her clients feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. All of her work is so amazing and I love the way that she captures families! She’s always learning and trying new things, I absolutely love her work! We finished her branding and website last year, it’s so unique and classic. This blue wall matched her brand perfectly– She was such a joy to work with!
The Entrepreneur:
Hiliary Stewart
I chose Hiliary to be part of this project because she’s one of my favorite entrepreneurs!! She kind of embodies the spirit of an entrepreneur in my mind. She goes to school full time and has a wild little girl, so she needs a job that is flexible and what she’s passionate about. Her and her little family also get to travel a lot! Her and her husband also flip houses and he’s realtor as well.
I asked Hiliary what her favorite part of being an entrepreneur is, she responded,
“I love being an entrepreneur because of the freedom it gives me. Every single job I’ve worked has made me sacrifice way too many special family moments. I remember working three 12 hour shifts in a row, my last one being the night before I delivered Mina, and thinking there HAD to be another way. Turns out there is. I’m still CONSTANTLY (if not more) making sacrifices for work, but I get to control what I’m giving up, and make sure it’s a trade off I want. I also get to decide what values are most important to my company. I get to take my customer service to the next level in everything I do. I get to serve people every single day. I get to love on people, and I couldn’t ask for anything else.”
