The Colors:
Red and Mint
I have always loved red and mint together! These are actually Pamela’s brand colors and I love the way she looks with her Photo Booth! The red in your brand can represent passion, emotion, youthfulness, and excitement! But it can also make people think of aggression and anger, so be careful how you use it ;) Green represents environmental, growth, and health! Pamela is so passionate about everything she does, excited about life, and is all around just super rad! I’m so happy we chose to go with these colors because it just matched her so well!
Here is Pamela in her summer outfit with Lucille! So adorable!
Green and Red
If you read my post about complementary colors, you understand that you find complementary colors by finding the opposite colors on the color wheel. It can be hard to see these particular colors together and not automatically think of Christmas! But it all comes down to the way you use them in your brand. With the post with Sweet Ruby Co, we used more dull colors of green and patterns to portray a different mood. Pamela’s brand is very vibrant and bold, and this is the dress she wears when working, so using these colors together we stayed brand relevant.
The Business:
Photo Sideshow
Photo Sideshow is a Photo Booth rental! Lucille is the camper’s name, and she is a 1956 canned ham camper converted into a traveling portrait machine that works as guest book, entertainment, and party favor in one. She is the perfect wedding guest, but will never say no to any kind of party or event. This lady has fun at showers, reunions, retirement parties, corporate events, holiday parties, neighborhood block parties, festivals, and proms. Lucille is based in Ogden, but is happy to travel to Salt Lake City or anywhere in northern Utah.
The Entrepreneur:
Pamela Godwin
Pamela is a wife, mother, student, president of Weber Entrepreneurs Association, AND business owner. Everything that she does, she does it all the way! She won Startup Weber this past year, a business competition at Weber State. She also throws the most epic Harry Potter Party every year that I’m honored to be a big enough HP fan to get invited to. Her booth is as unique as Pamela is rad.
I asked Pamela what resources she would recommend to other entrepreneurs she said,
“The Hall Global Entrepreneurship Center at Weber State has been an incredible resource for me! The minor, the competitions, the lectures, the club, and the connections I’ve made have all been invaluable. And I think every new entrepreneur should check out the Small Business Development Center in Ogden.“
