The Colors:
Yellow and Navy
If you read my post about complementary colors, you understand that you find complementary colors by finding the opposite colors on the color wheel. I love yellow and blue together! Finding different shades and hues of the same color is an awesome way to stay true to your brand, but also add some depth. Universally, yellow is synonymous with the sun and happiness. These ladies are a bright ray of sunshine, so it was so fitting! We were laughing the whole time and just clicked right away! Blue symbolizes confidence, trust, and strength. These confident ladies made me feel so comfortable (and awesome) during our shoot and my interview on their show!
The Business:
Wasatch View
Joan Dunn and Angie Erickson run Wasatch View, it’s a weekly lifestyle show on standard.net and features what is going on in Northern Utah! I love each of their videos, they’re thought out and really useful. I reached out to these ladies because they’d worked with a few of my clients and friends and I thought they would just be fun to meet and such a good fit for this project! They were so nice to come and dress up for me, then they invited me on their show! It was a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. If you’re a business owner around Ogden or know something cool going on around here, you should contact them– they’re a blast!
The Entrepreneurs:
Angie and Joan
These ladies both worked for the Standard Examiner when they realized a new dream they had! Some entrepreneurs start what they do because they see a need that needs to be filled, and they want to make the rules of their jobs! These amazing women fit that bill. They wanted to create a lifestyle vlog that could help people find out what’s going on around them and can help the locals here!
I asked Angie and Joan what the best part of creating their own jobs was they said,
“The flexibility our job offers as well as the amazing people we have met and the experiences we have had. Northern Utah is full of incredible people and businesses! We love showing people what is right in their own backyards!”
